If you are looking to build functional strength, kettlebells are a good option. You can get a whole body workout with just one kettlebell. Many people find kettlebells superior to dumbbells because there are more dynamic ways to use them. These are perfect for working out at home because they don’t take up a lot of room.
You can start out with a light kettlebell and upgrade when the workout is no longer challenging. Choose one that you can pick up and swing relatively easy. Start out with the lighter weight until you learn good form. This will help you to prevent injuries.
Home fitness doesn’t require a lot of equipment which can save you a bit of money. If you have a few feet of empty space, you can get started right away.
